We created Green Economy Think Tank to convene leaders and their communities to catalyze ideas into action from living systems paradigms for alternative futures through forums, salons, dinners, events and conferences. Our approach is rooted in evolutionary leadership principles, fostering adaptive and transformative change in economic systems.

 

We are committed to the highest principles of human development applied to evolving finance and economic development - incorporating ideas drawn from our community of practice, including integral theory, living systems science, biomimicry for finance, advanced organizational and community development paradigms, regenerative economic thinking, indigenous wisdom, blue ocean strategy to replicate and distribute the most advanced applications of human potential and organizational development. We embrace a new paradigm that views economies as living, evolving ecosystems rather than mechanical systems.
 

With increasing concern about the economy, environmental degradation, public health and gridlock in civic leadership, there is a great need for new ways to make change happen. Communities and Cities all over the world must create innovative solutions to economic development which creates jobs for their residents, while maintaining quality of life with cleaner, healthier and safer business practices. This requires a shift from linear to circular thinking, and from competition to collaboration as the primary mode of operation.
 

To meet these challenges, a new type of systems leadership is emerging which cultivates the resources and authority to convene and continue the dialogues for creating shared visions, outcomes and shared success, we are here to cultivate this new type of systems leadership. Green Economy Think Tank(GETT) is a non-profit organization that catalyzes the convening of these new leaders from diverse sectors who are focused on implementing and improving our nation's green economy. We facilitate the emergence of new economic paradigms that are regenerative, inclusive, and aligned with natural systems.
 

We see the development of bioregional living laboratories serving as incubators for new economic models embodying evolutionary principles. These laboratories bring together investors, corporations, government agencies, and communities to interact, build consensus, and achieve goals that are relevant both locally and nationally.

We aim to increase cooperation among the most innovative initiatives and groups through events, ideas and programs that bring together leaders from business, education, government, health, technology, and community in regions around the country.
